Enrollment Procedures
Lake Country Classical Academy (LCCA) is an independent (2r), public (tuition-free) charter school. Enrollment is open to all students without geographical restrictions. All new students who apply have equal chance of admission with consideration to specific priorities*.
All applications must meet the enrollment criteria. Lake County Classical Academy cannot be held responsible for applications that are completed with missing or inaccurate information including, but not limited to, incorrect grade placement or sibling priority selection. 2023-2024 Enrollment Criteria:
- 5K-11th grade student with a clear disciplinary record
- Wisconsin resident
- Application to be completed via SchoolMint.com
Application Process:
- Enrollment applications opens 1/1/2023 and will stay open until 1/31/2023. All applications received for 5K-11th grades during open enrollment season will be eligible for the 2023-2024 school year lottery.
- Enrollment lottery will run on 2/1/2023. Seat availabilities per grade level are determined by administration and may differ depending on returning student count and facility constraints or restrictions. Lottery placement occurs at random via SchoolMint software, with consideration to appropriate priorities*.
- Lottery offers sent via our SchoolMint software. If an offer from Lake Country Classical Academy is received, parents/guardians are required to ACCEPT or DECLINE the offer in their SchoolMint account within five days of receipt or the offer will be rescinded, and the seat will be given to the next child on the waitlist.
- Waitlist number sent via our SchoolMint software. Students who do not receive an offer will automatically be placed on the waitlist at random (with consideration to appropriate priorities*) via our SchoolMint software. If your child is placed on the waitlist, periodically check your email (or spam) for emails from Lake Country Classical Academy.

Registration in Progress:
- Accepted offers. Once an offer is ACCEPTED, parents/guardians must then click REGISTER to complete all items in the online student registration packet. This online packet must be completed within 14 days of accepting the offer or the seat may be rescinded and offered to the next student on the waitlist.
Registration Complete:
- Parents/Guardians are required to bring an original birth certificate to show front office staff (copies will not be made) and pay the $125 non-refundable user fee.
- The front office will verify all information and request records from student’s previous school.
*Priority is given to children of full-time employees and children of board members not to exceed 10% of total enrollment. Priority is given to siblings of verified LCCA students from the prior school year who have completed reenrollment to return.
